RACE DAY IS SUNDAY, APRIL 28th, 2013

The Honolulu 5K is an event to help promote health and fitness for Hawaii’s children as well as their families to create a more active and healthy lifestyle.   Proceeds from the event will be distributed to the schools based on each individual school’s participation and will be used to help enhance or improve the physical fitness, play and athletic programs within the schools. The event relies on donations from local businessesand support from volunteers to run the event.

This Years Race
The date has been set for Sunday, April 28, 2013 and there will be a ChampionChip/MyLaps timed 5K run and an untimed 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk for Keiki and adults through Downtown Honolulu.

Register Online or Manual Entry Forms !
Early online registration is $20.00/person until midnight on March 14th, 2013.  The entry fee will increase to $25.00/person on March 15th. There will be a minimal online processing fee of $1.50/person for online entries (there is no online processing fee added to donations). Mail in entries will be accepted at $25.00/person. Last day to mail in entries is April 18th. After that date registration forms will be accepted at packet pickup. Late registration at packet pick up is $35.00/person. Schools that have collected registration forms and were not able to send them in, please contact us at info@honolulu5k.org to arrange collection of the entry forms prior to packet pickup.

Neighbor island schools can participate, too!
Schools on Maui, Hawaii, Kauai, Lanai and Molokai can also benefit from this event without physically participating.  Anyone can simply make a donation to a designated school and that school’s name will be added to the list of schools participating statewide.
